Mix into a 1oz. dropper bottle extra virgin olive oil with vitamin E. Squirt a drop into the inner ear and massage under the ear area outside with your fingers.
Your dog will only be able to hear loud sounds for awhile. Wait about 2 days, then clean with tightly knit cotton swabs. Move slowly and gently because it is very sensitive down there. After cleaning, soak a tightly knit cotton swab with vitamin E and anoint your dog's inner ears. Repeat every week. |

LINDA'S TIP This never fails me. First I give the dog the pill tucked in his favorite treat. Then, I hold out another - uncontaminated treat to him. He forgets about spitting out the pill in his rush to get his second treat. "Pill is Swallowed." |

| Subject: Ring-worms |
Ringworm is a contagious fungus type of parasite. Treat as for mange if it is widespread, but if it is only in several patches then you can cure by dressing with fresh-squeezed lemon juice. This forms a glaze over the ringworm surface. Being a fungus type of parasite it suffocates and withers. |

Check your pet's inner ears for infection or mites. Ear infections cause seizure symptoms too. Nutrition - avoid substances that may irritate brain tissue, such as: food containing additives, coloring and preservatives. B vitamins are very important to nerve tissue. Use B complex containing a full spectrum of the B group (20 to 50 milligram levels) and vitamin C. Testimony From: Billie Roberson Eight years ago our 8 yr. old wire fox terrier got desperately ill. We took her to a Chinese vet who promptly took her off all dog food. We never found out what caused Phoebe's illness but thank goodness it happened because the new diet cured her of her seizures and incontinence. According to the vet, dogs may have as much as 20 times the amount of preservatives in their bodies as humans. The diet is to remove all preservatives from your dog's diet. The diet is rice (many brands and both brown & white) low fat cottage cheese and baby food. The idea is to vary the diet so the dog does not become allergic to any other foods. This basic diet is supplemented with table scraps (no sweets, fried or highly seasoned foods), fresh fruits, fresh veggies, cooked eggs, cooked chicken and cheese. We also give cranberry juice daily (ours must have it mixed like cranapple, crangrape etc…). The first thing to fail in dogs is usually their kidneys, hence the juice. Be patient, usually the dog won't like it at first but just wait. Anything good for you is good for your dog. Not too much of any one thing. You will notice a change in the bowel movements and even the coat and eyes will be different. Avoid drugs especially prednesone(sp). After the age of two - boosters should be given every 3 years with the exception of state mandated rabies shots. Avoid all internal flea treatment. We had to put our Phoebe down 2 months ago and I honestly believe if she had been on this diet sooner, she would still be with us. We also have a 13 year old shih tzu who is doing great and have just adopted a rescued terrier (3 years), she was reluctant to drink the juice at first but for the last 2 weeks she has been gobbling it up. She always liked everything else. What you are dealing with are very allergic dogs. Many dog foods claim not to have preservatives. Make them put it in writing; it is not true. The FDA does not control dog food. Good luck. |

Keep close supervision of your pets in swimming pool areas. Most pets are natural swimmers, but they can panic if they fall in unexpectedly. Their legs may be too short to help scramble out of the pool. A panicked pet may not know to swim to the ladder or steps. They may flail about until tiring and drown. Exercise caution by spending a week acquainting your pet with the swimming pool ladder or steps. |
